The appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Shehu as the new Registrar of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, has been described as a landmark achievement for Higher National Diploma (HND) graduates and the Polytechnic education system in Nigeria.

The Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Chapter, Comrade U. S. Suleiman, said the appointment marks a significant milestone as Abdullahi Ibrahim Shehu becomes the first Registrar of the institution to be a graduate of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration.

In a congratulatory message, Suleiman stated that the appointment demonstrates the quality, relevance, and value of Polytechnic education, as well as the competence and professionalism of its graduates. He noted that the development further reinforces the growing recognition of HND holders in leadership and administrative positions.

He expressed confidence that the new Registrar's wealth of experience and administrative expertise would contribute significantly to the continued growth and development of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic. He also prayed for a successful and impactful tenure, expressing hope that Abdullahi Ibrahim Shehu's leadership would bring lasting benefits to the institution and Kaduna State as a whole.
