A young industrialist and entrepreneur, Hayatu Musa Hassan, has declared his political ambition, saying his decision to venture into politics was driven by a lifelong vision of empowering millions of Nigerians through entrepreneurship and job creation.
Hassan, a chemical engineer and businessman, said he had spent most of his life building businesses and creating employment opportunities, noting that he began employing people from a young age.
Speaking during an interview, the aspirant explained that his ambition was inspired by what he described as his “Vision 40-40-40” a personal development target aimed at establishing enterprises and creating jobs at the age of 40.
“I have never held any public office in my life. I have always been an entrepreneur. I built my businesses myself and started employing people from a very young age of 15,” he said.
According to him, the vision is centered on building about 40 enterprises capable of employing thousands of people and contributing to national development.
Hassan attributed his leadership philosophy and people-oriented mindset to the upbringing he received from his parents and grandparents, whom he described as strong sources of inspiration in his life.
He recalled stories shared by his late grandmother, including an incident surrounding his birth, which he said shaped his sense of purpose and responsibility toward society.
“These are stories of the wise that instill values in you and guide your life toward serving humanity,” he stated.
The young entrepreneur stressed that his desire to join politics was not for personal gain, but to expand the scope of his impact on society through leadership and economic empowerment initiatives.
