The honour was bestowed on Alhaji Yahaya Aminu Pate during the forum’s annual celebration held at Kwarbai area of Zaria local Government, which attracted community leaders, youth groups, and residents from different parts of the area.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the forum, Malam Muhammad Bello Abbas, said the award was presented to Alhaji Yahaya Aminu Pate in appreciation of his continued support for community development initiatives and his commitment to the welfare of the people.
He noted that the forum deemed it necessary to recognise individuals who have positively impacted the growth and progress of Kwarbai through selfless service and support to humanity.
Malam Muhammad Bello Abbas explained that the annual celebration was also aimed at encouraging unity, peaceful coexistence, and collective participation in the development of the community.
In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Yahaya Aminu Pate who was represented by Umar Yahuza Adamu expressed gratitude to the forum and members of the community for finding him worthy of the recognition.
He described the honour as a great source of encouragement and pledged to remain committed to initiatives that would uplift the lives of the people and promote sustainable development in the area.
Alhaji Yahaya Aminu Pate further called on residents, especially youths, to continue supporting community-based programmes capable of fostering peace, unity, and socio-economic development.
The forum also honoured five other distinguished individuals for their various contributions to the advancement of the community in areas such as education, youth empowerment, humanitarian services, and social development.
