Nurul Islam Academy for Arabic and Islamic Studies, Basawa Barracks, Zaria, has held its third graduation ceremony for 18 Qur’an memorizers and those who completed recitation.

Speaking, Director of the Centre for legal and Islamic Studies Ahmadu Bello University, Kongo Campus, Dr. Sa’ad Abubakar, stressed that a true Qur’an memorizer must live in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an and traditions of Prophet Muhammad.

 He commended the school management for their commitment to producing disciplined Qur’anic memorizers.

In a lecture presentation, Malam Ahmad Garba Kaduna highlighted the honour and elevation that Allah grants to those who memorize the Glorious Qur’an.

In their separate remarks, the Chief Imam of Basawa Barracks, Captain Muhammad Sani Usman, and the Headmaster of the school, Malam Abdullahi Sa’idu, Basawa expressed satisfaction with the progress recorded so far.

In his goodwill message, the Special Guest, Commander Nigerian Army of Military police Basawa Bgr. General Yakubu Who was Represented by Colonel  Yusuf, congratulated the graduands and urged them to continue seeking knowledge for the betterment of their future.

Among the graduating students, Abubakar Muhammad Sani and Khadija Muhammad Sani  who recited selected verses of the Glorious Qur'an, expressed joy over the achievement.

The third graduation ceremony attracted dignitaries including the Chief Imam of Depot Zaria, the Deputy Director of Islamic Affairs IDIV Kaduna, Dr. Zakariya from F.U.E Zaria, scholars, parents, and students.
