According to a condolence message issued by Malam Magaji Umar Dan Aljanna, the incident occurred on Thursday, August 20, 2026, along the Gamagira Road in Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The accident also claimed the lives of three children of the deceased, including Ahmad Sukairatu.
Malam Magaji Umar Dan Aljanna, on behalf of himself and his family, described the incident as a great loss to the family, the students of Sheikh Malam Ghali and the wider Muslim community.
He prayed to Allah to forgive Sheikh Malam Ghali and the other victims of the accident and grant them Aljannatul Firdaus as their eternal abode.
The philanthropist also prayed to Allah to grant the bereaved families, relatives and students of Sheikh Malam Ghali the strength, patience and fortitude to bear the loss.
He further prayed that Allah would elevate the status of the deceased and grant them a noble position in the company of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Malam Magaji Umar Dan Aljanna urged the bereaved families and all those affected by the tragedy to remain steadfast in prayer for the souls of the departed.
He concluded by praying for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased and for patience and comfort for their families.
May Allah grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdaus and give their families the strength to bear the loss. Ameen.
