The House of Representatives candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Zaria Federal Constituency, Hon. Hamisu Zakiru Idris, popularly known as Alhaji Ganda, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving the lives of women and youths through education, healthcare training and skills acquisition.

Hon. Hamisu stated this at the graduation ceremony of participants who successfully completed various healthcare training programmes in Zaria.

 He explained that the initiative was designed to equip young people with practical healthcare knowledge and skills needed to contribute to the health and well-being of their communities.

The NDC candidate announced plans to sponsor some outstanding graduates to pursue Diploma programmes in healthcare, saying the move would further strengthen their professional competence.

 He disclosed that over one hundred male and female youths benefited from the training and urged them to put the knowledge and skills acquired into productive use while serving humanity.

Hon. Hamisu Zakiru Idris further revealed that he had previously supported more than 300 orphans and vulnerable persons with financial assistance to establish small businesses.

 He added that arrangements had been concluded to extend similar support to more beneficiaries across Zaria Local Government Area. 

The House of Representatives  also appealed to youths and other Nigerians to continue praying for lasting peace, improved security and sustainable economic growth in the country.
