Shaibu informed the Emir that four major activities had been lined up for the graduation ceremony, including the passing-out parade and the completion of the recruits' Restore Hope Training Programme, designed to enhance physical fitness, discipline, and military preparedness.
He noted that Zaria remains a household name in the Nigerian Army, having trained generations of soldiers who have contributed significantly to the nation's security and manpower development.
Lieutenant General Waidi expressed appreciation to the Emir and the people of Zazzau for their continued support and assured the Emirate of the Army's commitment to sustaining cordial relations with the community.
Responding, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, commended the Nigerian Army for its contributions to national security and human capital development through the training of recruits at the Depot Nigerian Army, Zaria.
The Emir said the Emirate was proud to host the Depot Nigerian Army and other military formations operating within the area.
He congratulated the Army on the forthcoming passing-out parade and expressed confidence in the success of the event.
