The Director General of the Kaduna State Transport Regulatory Authority, Engr. Inuwa Ibrahim, has called on Muslims to uphold the values of sacrifice, obedience, love, peace, and compassion which Eid-el-Kabir symbolizes.

He made the call in his Sallah message issued in Zaria.

Engr. Inuwa Ibrahim urged citizens to continue praying for lasting peace, unity, and sustainable development in Kaduna State and the country at large.

He also prayed for Nigerian pilgrims currently performing the 2026 Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, asking Almighty Allah to grant them Hajj Mabrur and ensure their safe return to their families and communities.

The DG further appealed to road users, drivers, and commuters to observe traffic regulations and exercise patience during the festive period in order to avoid accidents and ensure the safety of lives and property.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Kaduna State Transport Regulatory Authority to maintaining order, safety, and smooth transportation services before, during, and after the Sallah celebrations.

Ibrahim expressed optimism that the Eid celebration would strengthen unity, mutual understanding, and harmony among people of different backgrounds, while encouraging citizens to support government efforts aimed at improving security and socio-economic development.

He wished all Muslims a peaceful, joyous, and hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir celebration and prayed for Allah’s continued blessings upon Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.

“May Allah accept our sacrifices and acts of worship, and may He grant peace, prosperity, and progress to our dear state and nation,” he said.

Engr. Inuwa Ibrahim also extended warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen; the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal; as well as the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
