The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has commended the Kaduna State Media Cooperation for its efforts in broadcasting programmes that promote peace and unity among the people of the state.
He stated this when members of the organizing committee for this year's Ramadan lecture of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Zaria.
Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli acknowledged the vital role the station plays in educating and enlightening the public on issues relating to peaceful coexistence, unity, and the overall development of the state.
He urged the management of the station to sustain the good work with professionalism and patriotism.
Earlier in her remarks, Executive Director Radio Services and Chairperson of the Ramadan Lecture Organizing Committee, Hajiya Farida Abubakar, said they were at the palace to seek royal blessings and formally present an invitation to the Emir in his capacity as a father figure and leader ahead of the event.
She added that this year’s lecture, themed “Patriotism from the Islamic Perspective,” will be delivered by the Chief Imam of Almanar Mosque, Sheikh Tukur Almanar.
In his remarks, Executive Director of Television Services, Alhaji Zakari Aliyu Ahmed, explained that this is the second edition of the KSMC Ramadan Lecture, scheduled to hold on March 4, 2026.
He further disclosed that a former Governor of Kaduna State and Dallatun Zazzau, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, will serve as Chairman of the occasion.
The Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, was accompanied on the visit by the Director of News, Alhaji Tanimu Albarka, the Manager of Queen FM Zaria, Malam Yusuf Jibrin and other members of the committee.
