The Director of Tameem Science Academy, Zaria, Malam Ibrahim Tameem, has extended goodwill messages to Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 New Year, calling on citizens to embrace peace, respect for the rule of law, and obedience to constituted authority.
In his New Year message released in Zaria, Malam Ibrahim Tamim described the beginning of 2026 as a period of renewed hope and responsibility, urging members of the public to reflect on their roles in building a peaceful and progressive society.
He stressed that respect for laws and constituted leadership remains the foundation of stability and development in any society. According to him, when citizens uphold the law and support leadership through lawful means, it helps to promote harmony and national cohesion.
The school director further encouraged the public to support leaders with prayers, constructive advice and patience, noting that leadership is a trust that requires collective cooperation for success rather than hostility or disorder.
Malam Ibrahim Tamim also made a strong appeal to parents and guardians to pay closer attention to the moral upbringing of their children. He said proper parental guidance is critical to shaping responsible individuals and preventing social vices within communities.
He noted that while schools play an important role in education and character building, parents remain the primary custodians of children’s values and behaviour. He therefore called for stronger collaboration between parents, schools and the wider society in promoting discipline and good morals.
The director also commended the Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli for his sustained efforts in promoting peace, unity and educational development within the Zazzau Emirate and beyond. He described the Emir as a visionary traditional ruler whose leadership continues to positively influence social harmony and progress.
In conclusion, Malam Ibrahim Tamim prayed for divine guidance, peace and prosperity in the year 2026, expressing hope that the new year would usher in greater stability, moral renewal and development for Zaria, Kaduna State and the nation at large.
