The Chairman of the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board, Muhammad Lawal Usman, popularly known as Mai Elsa, has commended a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila, for facilitating employment opportunities for constituents from his constituency.

Speaking at the presentation of appointment letters in Zaria, Muhammad Lawal Usman described the initiative as a clear demonstration of responsible representation and commitment to human capital development. He said the empowerment of citizens through employment remains one of the most effective strategies for promoting economic stability and social cohesion.

He further noted that the employment of the additional 52 beneficiaries reflects consistency and sincerity in leadership, stressing that the gesture goes beyond political considerations to directly improve the welfare of families and communities across the constituency.

The 52 newly employed men and women are an addition to an earlier batch of 107 constituents who had previously secured employment in various establishments across Kaduna State through the intervention of the lawmaker.

With the latest development, the total number of beneficiaries facilitated into employment by Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila has risen to 159, underscoring what observers described as a sustained effort toward inclusive development and improved livelihoods for residents of the constituency.

Also speaking, Balarabe Musa, Garkuwan Ayyukan Zazzau, praised the lawmaker for prioritising the needs of his people. He described the employment initiative as timely and impactful, noting that it aligns with the development-driven policies of Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.

In his remarks, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila said the employment of the additional 52 constituents was part of his broader commitment to serving the people and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots.

He explained that with the current batch, a total of 159 men and women from the constituency have now secured employment through his facilitation since assuming office. The lawmaker assured constituents of his continued engagement with relevant authorities to attract more opportunities in employment, education and other areas of development.

Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila also expressed deep appreciation to the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, for what he described as purposeful and people-oriented leadership that continues to create opportunities for citizens across the state.

He noted that the governor’s policies and reforms in governance, employment generation and human capital development have made it possible for constituents to access job opportunities within state ministries, departments and agencies.

According to him, the governor’s commitment to fairness and inclusiveness has strengthened public confidence in government.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke on behalf of others expressed gratitude to the lawmaker and the Kaduna State Government, describing the appointments as life-changing. They pledged to work diligently and uphold discipline in their respective places of assignment.
