Engr. Inuwa Ibrahim attended the mission alongside the Project Director and Project Coordinator to review progress recorded towards the effective implementation of the Kaduna Bus Rapid Transit (KBRT) project.
The mission was organised by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) to assess the quarterly progress of the project and discuss key issues relating to its implementation.
Project consultants responsible for design, EPCS, as well as consultants for Project Monitoring and Operational Development (PMOD), joined the meeting virtually alongside other specialists from the Project Management Unit (PMU).
The meeting provided an opportunity for stakeholders to review the status of the project, assess progress against planned activities and consider issues that could affect timely and effective implementation.
The stakeholders also exchanged views on the next steps required to sustain progress and ensure that the project objectives are achieved.
The KBRT project is part of efforts to improve public transportation, enhance mobility and provide a more efficient and organised urban transport system in Kaduna State.
Engr. Inuwa Ibrahim's participation underscores KADSTRA's role in supporting coordination and effective implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening the state's public transportation system.
