Gyallesu United were officially crowned champions of the tournament, while Santos F.C finished as runners-up after a hard-fought performance.
The tournament, which featured participation from 12 teams, was fully sponsored by Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila Bola'ige, a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly representing Zaria City Constituency.
In his address at the event, Bola’ige expressed his commitment to youth development through sports, emphasizing the importance of grassroots football in promoting unity and talent discovery. He commended the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, for his continuous support and investment in sports development across the state.
He also praised the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, for his leadership and contributions to youth empowerment initiatives.
Speaking earlier, Coach Kemfes lauded Barrister Bola’ige for sponsoring the competition, describing the initiative as a significant step toward nurturing young football talents and strengthening unity within the community.
At the end of the tournament, prizes including cash rewards, footballs, and other valuable items were presented to the winning team, runners-up, and participating teams, marking a successful conclusion of the competition.
