The Chief Executive Officer of Al-Iman Clinic and Maternity Services in Zaria, Dr. Bashir Abdulmumin, has explained that the newly opened health facility was established primarily for the benefit of the community, with the aim of improving access to quality and affordable healthcare for residents of Zaria and its environs.

Dr. Bashir Abdulmumin made this known during a media interaction with journalists on Wednesday, January 23, 2026, shortly after the official opening of the clinic. He said the decision to establish the hospital was driven by the challenges many people face in accessing timely and quality medical care.

According to him, the new Al-Iman Clinic is equipped with modern medical facilities designed to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of various health conditions. The clinic features a fully equipped maternity unit, a modern delivery room, and well-maintained inpatient wards that provide comfort and safety for patients.

He added that the facility also has a standard pharmacy stocked with quality medications, making it easy for patients to obtain prescribed drugs without delay. In addition, the clinic operates a well-equipped medical laboratory fitted with modern diagnostic equipment to ensure fast and reliable test results.

Dr. Bashir Abdulmumin further noted that the clinic has employed qualified and experienced medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, midwives, and laboratory scientists, to provide compassionate and professional healthcare services to patients. He emphasized that the clinic’s doors are open to everyone, regardless of background, and reaffirmed the management’s commitment to professionalism, integrity, and community-focused healthcare delivery.

As part of activities marking the opening, the clinic also organized a free medical outreach on the first day, during which residents received free medical consultations, basic treatments, and health checks. The outreach also included free circumcision services for young children, a gesture aimed at supporting families and promoting child health in the community.

The opening of the Al-Iman Clinic and Maternity Services comes at a time when the demand for accessible and quality healthcare is increasing, a development that many residents of Zaria have welcomed as a major step toward improving healthcare services in the area.
