The YTWT organization, in collaboration with Yhunich Mentors Academy, organized a public speaking competition that brought together young people from Zaria and Sabon Gari Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.

According to our correspondent, the event was held at the main conference hall of Rock Hotel, located in the GRA area of Zaria.

The competition, titled "Zazzau Public Speaking Contest 1.0 for Zaria and Sabon Gari Local Government Areas, Kaduna State," featured talented young men and women from the two local government areas.

A total of 50 participants who successfully passed the screening process qualified for the competition. 

During the event, contestants delivered speeches on various topics, including leadership, leadership challenges, the importance of youth in national development, and the challenges facing young people.

Following their presentations, participants were given the opportunity to answer questions from the panel of judges to assess their understanding, critical thinking, and communication skills.

One of the highlights of the event was the impressive level of confidence, eloquence, and competence displayed by the contestants, earning them enthusiastic applause from the audience while the judges carefully evaluated their performances.

At the end of the competition, the winners were presented with certificates of recognition.

Speaking with our correspondent, one of the judges, Mr. Umar Faruk, said that although he had served as a judge in many public speaking competitions over the years, this particular event greatly impressed him.

He commended both the organizers and the participants for their dedication and hard work and encouraged them to remain committed in order to achieve greater success in the future.

One of the contestants, Abdullahi Muhammad Bello, expressed his delight at participating in the competition.

He thanked the organizers, saying that taking part in the event had boosted his confidence and inspired him to continue developing his public speaking skills.

The Chairman of the planning Committee, Comrade Aliyu Suleiman, stated that YTWT's mission is to nurture the intellectual capacity, creativity, and talents of young people wherever they may be.
He said the successful conduct of the event demonstrated that the organization is making steady progress toward achieving its objectives. 

He also praised all the participants and reminded them that perseverance and continuous self-improvement are the keys to success.
Furthermore, he urged young people to remain committed to education and personal development so they can contribute meaningfully to Nigeria's growth, stressing that the youth are the backbone of every nation's development.

He concluded by expressing appreciation to the judges and everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the event.

The member of the organizing Committee, Comrade Muhammad Al-Khamis, said the objective of the competition was to equip young people with effective public speaking and communication skills so they could convey ideas clearly and confidently for the benefit of society and the nation as a whole.

He noted that the event reflected steady progress toward achieving the organization's goals and encouraged young people to pursue education and continue developing their talents.

In his closing remarks, he thanked all the contestants, judges, organizers, and supporters whose contributions made the competition a success.

The event commenced peacefully and concluded successfully.
