A coalition of support groups loyal to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has dismissed reports claiming that his supporters have accepted the outcome of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Bauchi State.

In a statement issued under the banner of the Network of Ambassador Tuggar Support Groups, the coalition described the reports as false and misleading, urging members of the public to disregard them.

The group alleged that no genuine supporter of Ambassador Tuggar had accepted the outcome of what it described as a flawed primary election, insisting that reports to the contrary were being circulated by individuals who neither represent the minister nor his supporters.

According to the statement, support groups aligned with Tuggar, his associates and many APC members across Bauchi State remain united in rejecting the emergence of M. A. Abubakar as the party's governorship candidate.

The coalition maintained that its members would continue to pursue what they described as fairness, justice and due process, insisting that they had not changed their position on the outcome of the primary election.
