Professor M. B. Usman, of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria has commended the management of Ulul Albab Universal Educational College, Zaria, for its remarkable dedication to promoting Qur’anic education and moral upbringing among young Nigerians.
Speaking during the 3rd Qur’anic Memorization Walimah held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Professor Usman praised the school’s consistency in nurturing students who combine sound Islamic knowledge with discipline and integrity. He described the college as one of the shining examples of institutions that blend traditional Islamic values with modern educational practices.
The don, who is also a respected educationist and community leader, emphasized that Qur’anic schools like Ulul Albab play a vital role in building a morally upright society. He urged government agencies, corporate bodies, and individuals to support the ongoing infrastructural projects of the school, including building classroom and dormitory facilities.
> “If every community can support institutions like Ulul Albab, our nation will witness a new generation of youth who are knowledgeable, morally guided, and socially responsible. This is an investment in our collective future,” he said.
In his goodwill message, the Ardon Zazzau, Alhaji Umar Abubakar Banzazzau, praised the continuous efforts of the Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, in promoting both Islamic and Western education across the emirate. He described the Emir as a visionary leader who understands the importance of knowledge in building a peaceful and progressive society.
The School Director Ustaz Kamaludeen Bunyamin, expressed profound appreciation to the invited guests, parents, and partners for their moral and financial support. He noted that the school’s vision of combining knowledge and practice has continued to produce students who are academically excellent, spiritually sound, and socially responsible.
