The Deputy Chief Whip of the Kaduna State House of Assembly and member representing Zaria City Constituency, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila, Esq., has said the inauguration of the Uba Sani APC Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation is aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and consolidating support for the administration of Governor Uba Sani in Zaria Local Government Area.

The event, held at Government Secondary School, Kofar Doka (ELSA College), Zaria, also featured the presentation of appointment letters to 15 appointees and the formal reception of members who defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Kofar Doka and Kwarbai ‘B’ Ward.

Speaking at the occasion, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila said the gathering was designed to further strengthen unity among party members and bring political activities closer to the people at the grassroots.

He explained that the establishment of the Uba Sani APC Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation would provide an opportunity for party members and supporters to engage directly with residents and sensitise them to government policies and programmes.

The Deputy Chief Whip commended Governor Senator Uba Sani for what he described as his commitment to the development of Kaduna State, particularly through programmes and projects aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.

According to him, the Governor's administration has continued to demonstrate concern for the needs of the people, while pursuing initiatives in infrastructure, education, healthcare and other critical sectors.

Barrister Mahmud Lawal Isma’ila also praised the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, for his contributions to the development of Zaria and Nigeria.

He said the Speaker had continued to provide purposeful leadership at the National Assembly while supporting initiatives aimed at improving the lives of his constituents and Nigerians in general.

The lawmaker called on APC members and supporters to remain united and committed to the progress of the party and the development of Zaria.

Also speaking at the event, the Executive Chairmen the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board, Malam Muhammad Lawal Usman Mai ELSA, emphasised the importance of education and human capital development in building a prosperous society.

He explained that the Kaduna State Government, under Governor Uba Sani, had continued to demonstrate commitment towards supporting students and expanding opportunities for young people to acquire education and skills.

Mai ELSA said investment in education remained one of the most effective ways of securing the future of society, urging parents and young people to take advantage of available educational opportunities.

He also described the gathering as an important platform for promoting unity, political participation and collective efforts towards the development of Zaria and Kaduna State.

In his remarks, the Sarkin Kasusan Zazzau, Alhaji Ibrahim Sidi Bamalli, commended the organisers of the event and called on political leaders and members of the community to work together for peace and development.

He stressed that unity and mutual understanding were essential for the progress of any community, noting that political activities should ultimately contribute to the welfare and development of the people.

Alhaji Ibrahim Sidi Bamalli urged residents to continue supporting initiatives that promote peace, education and socioeconomic development.

In his address, Sheikh Mustapha Umar described the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen unity and encourage collective participation in matters affecting the development of society.

He called on leaders to see public service as a responsibility and urged citizens to support leaders who demonstrate commitment to justice, peace and the welfare of the people.
