Dan Aljanna made the call in his Maulud celebration message issued in Zaria, Kaduna State.
He said the teachings of Prophet Muhammad provided enduring guidance on compassion, peaceful coexistence, good character, unity and respect for others.
The Islamic scholar therefore encouraged Muslims to demonstrate these values in their daily lives and contribute to building peaceful and harmonious communities.
He also called on Muslims to use gatherings organised to commemorate the birth of the Prophet to pray for Nigeria and its citizens, particularly for lasting peace, security and stability across the country.
Dan Aljanna urged the faithful to make prayers for the nation an important part of their Maulud activities, stressing that peace and security were essential for sustainable development and the wellbeing of citizens.
He felicitated Muslims across the world on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and prayed that Allah would grant them the opportunity to witness many more Maulud celebrations in good health, peace and security.
The Islamic scholar also prayed for the acceptance of the prayers and acts of worship offered by Muslims during the period.
